Military Discount

I would like to show my support for all members of the armed services and their families. Those soldiers who are serving in a current war or served in a past war have shown the courage to put their lives at risk to protect people who often aren't even from our country.

The soldiers who have been stationed in the U.S. or a friendly country have also shown a willingness to be called into battle at any time and deserve to be recognized for this willingness to face danger even if they haven't yet been called to face a battle.

The families of people in the military often endure more fear and hardship than the person in the military. These families also deserve our support.

I am therefore reducing the price by $5.00 for each deck of playing cards that is sent to a soldier serving in any branch of the military, any person who served in the military at any time in the past, and their families.

If any part of your order qualifies for this discount, please indicate the number of decks that qualify in the special instructions area of the order form and wait until I adjust the price to reflect the discount before paying for your order.

The price of custom playing cards consists of two parts- the one time setup cost to design the cards and the cost of producing the cards after they are designed.

Setup Cost

To determine the setup cost, simply count the number of different pictures that are put on the cards. The cost for setting up each picture is $2.00.

The setup fee covers any cropping or resizing of the photo, adding captions, and adjusting color and contrast.

Please note that the setup fee is only charged once for each picture. If the same picture is used for more than one card or is used in more than one deck, the $2.00 setup fee for that picture is only charged for the first time that it is used.

You may even use the picture in a different deck that you design a year later without paying for the setup on that picture.

This means that you can customize orders of multiple decks without paying an excessive setup fee and makes it economically feasable to personalize decks for several people by simply changing a few pictures such as the back or the kings and queens.

Shipping and Handling, Tax

In order to simplify calculation of cost, I charge a flat rate of $5 per order for shipping and handling regardless of the size of the order. I will pay the tax for any order that comes from Michigan.

Professional Layout

For customers who want us to provide professional layout services to enhance the impact of their photos, other options are available at additional cost. For example, a man and woman can be framed in interlocking hearts or a custom set of spots may be created from a persons head. Examples of these options are shown below.

custom spots For those people who want the ultimate in customization but don't want to provide a custom picture for each card value, we can create custom spots for a different look. A complete set of 10 custom spots (ace through 10) costs just $7.50.

Major photo restoration such as repairing a torn or severely damaged photo will be quoted on a case by case basis.
